[Meaning] the stone [sc. platform] of the lawcourt. Aristophanes [writes]: "'what use will you find for the platform?' -- 'I will put my bowls and jugs [on it]'".
Βῆμα· ὁ λίθος τοῦ δικαστηρίου. Ἀριστοφάνης· τὸ δὲ βῆμα τί σοι χρήσιμον ἔσται; τοὺς κρατῆρας καταθήσω καὶ τὰς ὑδρίας.
