[Meaning] justice. "Renown, the very thing which has been provided for the victories of [= over] one's enemies and for the righteousness which comes with peace, was making him still more spectacle-worthy to all."
Εὐδικία· δικαιοσύνη. τὸ δὲ κλέος, ὅπερ ἐπὶ ταῖς νίκαις τῶν πολεμίων καὶ ἐπὶ τῇ κατ' εἰρήνην εὐδικίᾳ ἦν πεπορισμένος, ἔτι ἀξιοθεατώτερον αὐτὸν πᾶσιν ἐποίει.
