Ioannes, Joannes, John [the Lydian]
A Lydian from Philadelphia. This man wrote one book On the months, and another On Omens in the sky; and [about] some other mathematical hypotheses. These [books] are associated with a certain governor Gabrielios.
Ἰωάννης, Φιλαδελφεὺς Λυδός. οὗτος ἔγραψε Περὶ μηνῶν βιβλίον ἕν· καὶ Περὶ Διοσημειῶν ἕτερον· καὶ ἄλλων τινῶν ὑποθέσεων μαθηματικῶν. προσομιλεῖ δὲ ταῦτα Γαβριηλίῳ τινὶ ὑπάρχῳ.
