α888Ἀκίνητα κινεῖν
to move the unmoveable
[sc. A proverbial phrase] in reference to things [being done] to excess. Because one should not even move altars, or tombs.
Ἀκίνητα κινεῖν· ἐπὶ τῶν καθ' ὑπερβολήν. ὅτι μὴ δεῖ μηδὲ βωμοὺς κινεῖν, ἢ τάφους.
