[a)=or means the same as] a ci/fos. And it is declined a)/oros, a)/ori. "But his mother, encountering [him], said, holding the sword against [his] chest [...]."
Ἆορ· τὸ ξίφος. καὶ κλίνεται ἄορος, ἄορι. ὑπαντιάσασα δὲ μήτηρ εἶπε, κατὰ στέρνων ἆορ ἀνασχομένη.
