[Meaning a] pouch. Eunapius [writes]: "[...] whether he would be avaricious and a slave of their purses. And when they learned these things clearly in this regard they brought the war to a close."
Βαλάντιον· μάρσιπος. Εὐνάπιος· εἴτε φιλοχρήματος εἴη καὶ δοῦλος τῶν βαλαντίων. καὶ ταῦτα σαφῶς ἐκπυνθανόμενοι πρὸς ταῦτα διεστρατήγουν τὸν πόλεμον.
