ε2331Ἐπιθειάσων
to call upon, to invoke
[Meaning intending] to hold a festival. "And he stayed there [sc. intending] to call upon [God] on the day of Christ's birth. For the majesty of the day was approaching."
Ἐπιθειάσων· ἑορτάσων. ὁ δὲ ἔμεινεν αὐτοῦ ἐπιθειάσων τῇ γενεθλίᾳ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ Χριστοῦ. καὶ γὰρ προσεπέλαζε τῆς ἡμέρας τὸ σέβας.
