[Meaning] the woven parts in fish-traps. But Plato uses the term in Timaeus in reference to the throat.
Ἐγκύρτια· τὰ ἐν τοῖς κύρτοις ἐνυφάσματα. Πλάτων δὲ χρῆται ἐν Τιμαίῳ ἐπὶ τῆς φάρυγγος τῇ λέξει.
