Translation

[Meaning to those] unhearing.¹
"He rode during the night to people unaware of what was being done, asking them to attack the enemy."²

Ἀμαθέσιν· ἀνηκόοις. ὁ δὲ ἤλαυνε νυκτὸς ἀμαθέσι τῶν ποιουμένων χρῄζων τοῖς πολεμίοις ἐπιπεσεῖν.
