Translation
[Meaning] he who makes his bed on the ground. Also [sc. attested is] a feminine form xameu/nh ["cot"], [meaning] a low couch.1 Aristophanes [writes]: "certainly [I would] not [put down rushes] on my cot, at least not if I had a bed cord."2
