The Suda has no entry for his better-known namesake the Samian historian (FGrH 76; OCD(4) s.v.), but his existence is acknowledged at lambda 776 - the entry for his brother Lynkeus - and he is quoted or cited elsewhere (epsilon 3718, lambda 84, pi 248, sigma 77, sigma 212, omega 263).
