Notes
- For Eretria, one of the two principal cities on the island of Euboia (epsilon 3382), see generally OCD(4) s.v. The Suda repeats the name with a different spelling at alphaiota 295.
'Eretrieus' was both the name of its eponymous founder (Stephanus of Byzantium s.v.) and the ethnikon of any of its citizens.
