Translation

Son of Aeschylus the tragic poet;¹ Athenian; a tragic poet himself. [He was the man] who won four victories with the [plays] of his father Aeschylus, which [Aeschylus] had not yet staged.² He also wrote his own.

Εὐφορίων, υἱὸς Αἰσχύλου τοῦ τραγικοῦ, Ἀθηναῖος, τραγικὸς καὶ αὐτός· ὃς καὶ τοῖς Αἰσχύλου τοῦ πατρός, οἷς μήπω ἦν ἐπιδειξάμενος, τετράκις ἐνίκησεν. ἔγραψε δὲ καὶ οἰκεῖα.
