Notes
- Same entry in Photius and in Timaeus' Platonic Lexicon; and cf. the scholia to Plato, Laws 810D, where the headword occurs in the masculine/feminine genitive singular. Here, by contrast, it is either masculine/feminine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular, and must therefore be extracted from another source, e.g. Sophocles, Philoctetes 1137, or Plato Comicus fr. 196 Kock (now 220 K.-A.).
