Also [sc. attested is] gnw/mwn ["expert"], [meaning] one who is knowledgeable. Also described as a gnw/mwn is a certain engineers' measuring-rod, and of course also a certain geometric figure, and part of a dioptric tool and of course also [part] of an astronomical one. And also that which is particularly understood [as belonging] among sun-dial instruments.²
