Notes
- An enigmatic entry. Adler printed both words as headwords (thus without a gloss); and irrespective of that it is not clear what relationship between them is intended. If this
i)tu/s (here only) is accentedi)/tus , it does mean the felloe of a wheel or the rim of a shield (iota 755, iota 756) or something else circular. The second word might then be its accusative case (again oddly accented), actuallyi)/tun in Homer. But fori)te/a as willow tree see under omicroniota 182, omicroniota 183.
