to put to the vote again
[Meaning] to change a vote. In Slave Tutor Pherecrates [writes]: "and put to the vote again [your decision] to give the money back." And the Attic [writers] say [it] with the syllable lengthened.
Ἀναψηφίσασθαι· τὸ μεταψηφίσασθαι. Δουλοδιδασκάλῳ Φερεκράτης· κἀναψηφίσασθ' ἀποδοῦναι πάλιν τὰ χρυσία. καὶ ἐκτεταμένως λέγουσιν οἱ Ἀττικοί.
