Archidamian war
The first [ten] years of the Peloponnesian war were called [the] Archidamian war, from the fact that Archidamus invaded Attica [sc. in these years].
Ἀρχιδάμιος πόλεμος· τοῦ Πελοποννησιακοῦ πολέμου τὰ πρῶτα ἔτη Ἀρχιδάμιος ἐκλήθη πόλεμος, ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἀρχίδαμον εἰς τὴν Ἀττικὴν ἐμβαλεῖν.
