Translation
[This] is what Athenians call the day we call the thirtieth, from its being the end of the preceding month and the beginning of the next. But Polemon1 maintains that once he2 called it Demetrias in honor of Demetrius the Macedonian.3 They call "of the day after tomorrow"4 and "to the day after tomorrow" the [period] to the third; and by itself e(/non , roughly aspirated, signifies what is prior and past.
