[Meaning] the city [of that name]. It was created by Seleukos; but it was named after his son Antiochos. Also [sc. attested is] Antiochis, a name of a tribe.
Ἀντιόχεια· ἡ πόλις. πεποίηται μὲν ὑπὸ Σελεύκου· ὠνόμασται δὲ ἀπὸ τοῦ παιδὸς Ἀντιόχου. καὶ Ἀντιοχίς, ὄνομα φυλῆς.
