Translation

[Meaning] illegal.¹
But² a)/nwmos [spelled] with omega [means] he who has no shoulder. From which the descendants of Pelops are also called this: shoulderless.³
Also [sc. attested is the comparative] a)nwmo/teros ["more/rather shoulderless"].

Ἄνομος· ὁ παράνομος. Ἄνωμος δὲ διὰ τοῦ ω μεγάλου, ὁ μὴ ἔχων ὦμον. ἐξ οὗ καὶ ἄνωμοι Πελοπίδαι οὕτω καλούμενοι. καὶ ἀνωμότερος.

Only Demeter, mourning the loss of her daughter, failed to notice, and ate part of his shoulder; the other Gods restored him to life and and replaced his shoulder with ivory" (OCD(4) pp.1101-2).
