Notes
- The epic/tragic verb
a)/nwga has perfect forms with present sense; see LSJ entry at web address 1 below. The present headword chould in theory be either second person singular imperative or third person singular indicative. The glossing (for which cf. Hesychius' entry ona)nw/gei , glossed withparakeleu/etai ) indicates the latter ; and the headword itself is likely to be quoted from Homer (13 instances) or Aeschylus (2).
cf. generally alpha 2583.
