Translation

Son of Philippos, from Apamea in Syria↗. Physician, student of Agathinos.¹ Practiced medicine in Rome during the reign of Trajan.² Lived 63 years and composed many works on medicine and natural science.

Ἀρχιγένης, Φιλίππου, Ἀπαμεὺς Συρίας, ἰατρὸς, μαθητὴς Ἀγαθίνου, ἐπὶ Τραϊανοῦ ἰατρεύσας ἐν Ῥώμῃ, βιοὺς ἔτη ξγʹ καὶ συγγράψας πολλὰ ἰατρικά τε καὶ φυσικά.
