The [verb that means] to grate, not [spelled] with the "o"1 [i.e. not] o)dach=sai . Also [sc. attested is] a)daxei=n , [meaning] to be grating. "For he is always grating the barley right here2 and gathering the husks": Aristophanes [sc. says this].3
