Translation

[Meaning] the places into which the winnowed chaff is thrown.¹
And in the Epigrams: "and sharp chaff-winnowing threshing-boards."²

Ἀχυρμιαί· οἱ τόποι, εἰς οὓς τὰ ἄχυρα ἀποφέρεται λικμώμενα. καὶ ἐν Ἐπιγράμμασι· καὶ τριβόλους ὀξεῖς ἀχυρότριβας.
