Translation

[Meaning] I hold heretical opinions. Also [when used] with an accusative:¹ ai(reti/zw means I choose. Out of this [comes the aorist middle] ai(retisa/menos ["having chosen"].
And h(|reti/sato ["he/she/it chose"].²

Αἱρετίζω· τὰ τῶν αἱρετικῶν φρονῶ. καὶ αἰτιατικῇ· Αἱρετίζω σημαίνει τὸ προαιροῦμαι. ἐξ οὗ καὶ αἱρετισάμενος. καὶ ᾑρετίσατο.
