Notes (2)
- A garbled entry deriving in large part from Harpokration s.v. nautodikai, where Aristophanes fr. 225 Kock (237 Kassel-Austin) is quoted: "I want [to make him] a foreigner suddenly, having dipped to the nautodikai." (Here "I want,"↩
e)qe/lw , has become the Suda'se)lqw/n , "having come").
On the nautodikai see generally A.R.W. Harrison, The Law of Athens, ii: procedure (Oxford 1971) 23-4.- 1Sc. yet masquerading as an Athenian citizen. ↩
- 2Comica adespota fr. 743 Kock (but not separately registered by Kassel-Austin).
