Translation

A general of [the] Romans, he wrote Letters and an epitome of the books of Polybius the historian.¹ He is admired for the form of his letters, that is [their] style. Look under "tribunes."²

Βροῦτος, στρατηγὸς Ῥωμαίων, ἔγραψεν Ἐπιστολὰς καὶ τῶν Πολυβίου τοῦ ἱστορικοῦ βίβλων ἐπιτομήν. θαυμάζεται δὲ εἰς τὴν τῶν ἐπιστολῶν ἰδέαν, ἤγουν χαρακτῆρα. ζήτει ἐν τῷ δήμαρχοι.
