Χαρώνειος θύρα· μία τοῦ νομοφυλακίου θύρα, δι' ἧς οἱ κατάδικοι τὴν ἐπὶ θάνατον ἐξάγονται. καὶ Ἀριστοφάνης ἐν Πλούτῳ· ὁ δὲ Χάρων σοι τὸ ξύμβολον δίδωσιν. ἀντὶ τοῦ μέλλεις ἀποθανεῖν.
