Translation

Son of Dexippus;¹ surnamed Herennius; of Athens↗. Rhetor. Lived under the Roman emperors Valerian, Gallienus, Claudius II and Aurelian.

Δέξιππος, Δεξίππου, ὁ Ἐρέννιος χρηματίσας, Ἀθηναῖος, ῥήτωρ, γεγονὼς ἐπὶ Βαλεριανοῦ καὶ Γαλλιήνου καὶ Κλαυδίου δευτέρου καὶ Αὐρηλιανοῦ τῶν βασιλέων Ῥωμαίων.
