Translation
Meaning [they who have been] adorned. For they are accustomed to use [the verb] ste/fein ["to crown"] instead of kosmei=n ["to adorn"]. But ste/mma ["wreath"] is the wool which is attached to the branch. Sophocles [writes]: "adorned with suppliant branches."
