Translation

[Meaning] one who is behaving in an artificial way and appearing to be orderly; as in Lysias in the [speech] In reply to Timon: "but they are bragging similarly to Timon and going around posturing, like this man".¹

Ἐσχηματισμένος· ὁ προσποιητὸν τρόπον ἔχων καὶ δοκῶν εἶναι κόσμιος· ὡς παρὰ Λυσίᾳ ἐν τῷ πρὸς Τίμωνα· οἱ δ' ἀλαζονεύονται μὲν Τίμωνι παραπλησίως καὶ ἐσχηματισμένοι περιέρχονται, ὥσπερ οὗτος.
