Notes (5)
- cf. iota 492.↩
- 1Likewise in other lexica. ↩
- 2Androklos, another son of Kodros, was held to be the founder of Ephesos; see e.g. Stephanus of Byzantium s.v. Benna. ↩
- 3cf. e.g. Aelian, Varia Historia 8.5 (without mention of Androklos). ↩
- 4The Danube. ↩
- 5On Darius and the Skythians see already delta 72 (end). The source of this particular sentence and its claims, however, is unidentifiable.
