1. Same or similar entry in other lexica; see the references at Photius kappa752 Theodoridis. The headword is third person singular, present indicative active, of kixra/w, koine form of ki/xrhmi. It is quoted, as Naber first realised, from Proverbs 13:11 LXX (not in the Masoretic text): "a just man takes pity, and lends".
