Translation

[Meaning] to adorn oneself with excessive care and in womanly fashion.¹ So Eupolis [sc. uses the word].²

Κομμοῦσθαι· καλλωπίζεσθαι περιέργως καὶ γυναικωδῶς. οὕτως Εὔπολις.
