Demosthenes in the [speech] For Ktesiphon [sc. mentions him]. He was one of the pro-Macedonians and those criticized for taking bribes. Amongst his plays is Philinna, according to Athenaeus in Deipnosophists.
Ἡγήμων· Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ ὑπὲρ Κτησιφῶντος. εἷς ἦν τῶν Μακεδονιζόντων καὶ τῶν ἐπὶ δωροδοκίᾳ διαβεβλημένων. τῶν δραμάτων αὐτοῦ ἐστι Φιλίννα, ὡς Ἀθήναιος ἐν Δειπνοσοφισταῖς.
