Demosthenes in the [speech] For Ktesiphon [sc. uses the phrase]. [sc. The 'leader' of a symmory was the name for] its richest member, who for that reason had been picked out to lead the others.
Ἡγεμὼν συμμορίας· Δημοσθένης ἐν τῷ ὑπὲρ Κτησιφῶντος. ὁ προέχων πλούτῳ καὶ διὰ τοῦτο τῶν ἄλλων ἡγεμονεύειν ἐπειλημμένος.
