Fate is also called nativity. Reflection and free will are older than creation. The beginning [is] also [called] origin. Aelian [writes]: "from there also the ailment took its origin".
Γένεσις· γένεσις λέγεται καὶ ἡ εἱμαρμένη. ἔστι δὲ πρεσβύτερον τῆς γενέσεως ἔννοια καὶ αὐτεξουσιότης. Γένεσις καὶ ἡ ἀρχή. Αἰλιανός· ἔνθεν οἱ καὶ τὸ ἀρρώστημα ἦν τὴν γένεσιν λαβόν.
