Ἄληκος· ποταμός.

*)/alhkos: potamo/s.
Notes
- Adler draws attention (by a simple "cf.") to the suspiciously similar entry alpha 1195:
A)/lhc: o)/noma to/pou , where Gaisford had suggested emendation too)/noma potamou= . It is obviously possible that a river and a "place" shared the same name, but in any event the name will beA)/lhc , genitiveA)/lhkos .
Another, remoter possibility is that the zeta has dropped off an entry for the river Zalekos in Pontos, modern Turkey.
