The son of Anaxander, a Rhodian from Kameiros,1 lived during the wars of Philip the Macedonian, [?winning his first victory?] in the 101st Olympiad;2 but according to some [he was] a Colophonian. He wrote sixty-five dramas, and won with ten. And this man was the first to introduce love-stories and seductions of virgins.
