Translation

[Meaning] having neither washed nor cleaned one's hands, but unclean. "And then drinking the broth and unwashed I will out-shout¹ the orators."²
Also [sc. attested is] a)napo/niptron ["not to be washed out"], [meaning] indelible.³

Ἀναπόνιπτος· μὴ νιψάμενος μηδὲ πλύνας τὰς χεῖρας, ἀλλ' ἀκάθαρτος. κᾆτ' ἐπιπιὼν τὸν ζωμὸν ἀναπόνιπτος λαρυγγιῶ τοὺς ῥήτορας. καὶ Ἀναπόνιπτρον, ἀνεξάλειπτον.
