Translation

The Attic [Greeks] [form] the genitive in the same way as the Ionians. Hermippus in Daughters of Athena [writes]: "a waxy new robe of ripe blossoms". And later on: "brushing delicate robes full of flowers".1 And Aristagoras in Blockhead: "thus Xenophon distinguishes missiles from mountains, and other different things".2
