Translation
They make the statue of Apollo with a kithara1 in his hands, symbolizing the sun, the harmony of everything: for mingling with the other stars it both produces and propagates.

Ἀπόλλωνος ἄγαλμα· κιθάραν ἐπὶ χειρῶν πλάττουσι τοῦ Ἀπόλλωνος ἄγαλμα, οἱονεὶ τὸν ἥλιον, τὴν τοῦ παντὸς ἁρμονίαν· κιρνώμενος γὰρ τοῖς λοιποῖς ἀστράσι καὶ κτίζει καὶ ζῳογονεῖ.
