Translation
[Meaning] that not mortgaged to a lender. For whenever it is mortgaged, the lender shows this very fact in writing set upon the land. The same happens with a house too.

Ἄστικτον χωρίον· τὸ μὴ ὑποκείμενον δανειστῇ. ὅταν γὰρ ὑποκέηται, αὐτὸ τοῦτο ὁ δανείσας διὰ γραμμάτων δηλοῖ ἐπικειμένων τῷ χωρίῳ. τὸ δὲ αὐτὸ καὶ ἐπὶ οἰκίας γίνεται.
