Translation

[One should say Attis], not Attia.¹ Demosthenes [writes]: "you begin with the [shouts of] 'Saboi': 'Attis Huis, Attis'."² Theopompos in Charlatan Women [writes]: "I will punish you and your Attis."³

Ἄττιν, οὐχὶ Ἄττια. Δημοσθένης· κατάρχεις τοῖς Σάβοις· Ἄττις Ὕις, Ἄττις. Θεόπομπος Καπηλίσι· κολάσομαί γ' ἔσω καὶ τὸν σὸν Ἄττιν.
