Translation

[Meaning] more esteemed, fitter-looking.¹ Eunapius [writes]: "Procopius,² having inducted the more satisfactory men, was converging through Phrygia↗³ upon the Emperor Valens."⁴

Χαριεστέρους· ἐνδοξοτέρους, εὐπρεπεστέρους. Εὐνάπιος· ὁ δὲ Προκόπιος τοὺς χαριεστέρους ἀναλαβὼν ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα Οὐάλεντα διὰ Φρυγίας συνήπτετο.
