(web address 1 below) does not define this adjective, which is attested only here; but cf. the related word xeirodi/kai in Hesiod, Works and Days 189 (web address 2), the plural of xeirodi/khs ("one who believes that might makes right"). Previous Suda editors advocated a change to either xeirodi/khs or xeirodi/kai here too.
