Translation

[Meaning he/she/it] went out, fell; in reference to a ship, hit upon, ran upon.¹
"Cleopatra declared herself queen of kings: into such an extreme of arrogance did she drift."²

Ἐξώκειλεν· ἐξῆλθεν, ἔπεσεν· ἐπὶ νηός, ἐξέβαλεν, ἐξέρριψεν. ἡ δὲ Κλεοπάτρα βασίλειαν βασιλέων ἑαυτὴν ἀνεῖπεν· ἐς τοσοῦτον ἄρα φρονήματος ἐξώκειλεν.
