Translation

[Meaning he/she/it] rejoiced over [someone].¹
"They exulted over the bodies of their enemies."²
And elsewhere: "he hurried, wishing to exult over them."³ That is to laugh at [them].

Ἐφήσθη· ἐχάρη. οἱ δὲ τοῖς τῶν πολεμίων σώμασιν ἐφήσθησαν. καὶ αὖθις· ἐφησθῆναι θέλων ἐκείνοις ἔσπευδεν. ἤγουν ἐπιγελάσαι.
