Notes
- Adler cites the unedited Ambrosian Lexicon as a source.
Perhaps derived from Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon (66.15 Bekker), where the headword -- the aorist passive oflia/zomai , third person singular -- is glossed first with another aorist passive verb; then an imperfect form of the same verb is given and the verb used here (which could be either imperfect or aorist) is used to gloss the imperfect. See also Hesychius epsilon2061.
The passage of Homer generating all this is Iliad 15.543, of the mortally-wounded Dolops.
